Crossroad Street / Šķērsiela

Lettland 1988 | 89 minutes

Camera: Ivars Seleckis
Director: Ivars Seleckis
Editor: Maija Selecka
Producer: Leonīds Bērziņš
Screenplay: Tālivaldis Margēvičs

The film features life on a small Riga suburban street in 1988, when the independence struggle had just started. It shows the fates and thoughts of ordinary people living in that street. However, it turns out to be a kind of model society that tells the viewer a lot about the processes going on in our part of the world at that time.
