Riga has its own tradition, to celebrate the birthday of the city each year. The 800 year birthday was celebrated in 2001 ,
where director and producer Ilona Bruver has made 1800 min show with the participation of circus artists and academic theater actors. The celebration of the 2007 is beeing documented in the film RIGA FEST .
