A ruler with a pig's snout has become a president of Latvia. This man who calls himself Dr.Snout has prohibited filmmaking. In order to do so, he has arrested and destroyed most of the film characters. The last hope for remaining ones is the return of Latvian folk hero Bear-Slayer who would lead them to the crucial fight with Dr.Snout.

This film is a severe criticism of Latvian government who during last 20 years has led local film industry into crisis.

The filming has stopped into the middle of the process since National Film center has put a political censorship to this film. This action caused a massive media blast over this subject. Ministers have expressed their opinion about this film and why it should not be made including statements that films like these are destroying the image of Latvia. All this has created an active involvement of people even offering donations to filmmakers to finish this film.

Here you can download a rough cut of the parts which we have managed to shoot. This cut has no sound studio nor it has music composed or any other postproduction works done.
